Meet the Team, Carter Burch

As RealtyAds’ talented team continues to grow, we are highlighting dynamic team members from all departments. These individuals play an essential role in connecting our product with clients, and we believe it’s crucial to familiarize yourself with the team that provides support to both you and your company.

Carter joined RealtyAds in 2022 as a Senior Associate on the account management team and has since transitioned into an Associate Director on the strategic growth team. With over five years of experience in relationship management and data-driven strategy, she identifies critical opportunities to drive success through AI-powered initiatives and leverages digital channels to enhance leasing activity. As a vital member of the RealtyAds team, Carter is instrumental in fostering growth and driving success for our clients.

What initially drew you to work for RealtyAds?

When I first discovered RealtyAds, I was drawn to the fast-paced work environment, and as a Chicagoan, I loved the idea of joining a company rooted in my favorite city. Candidly, I wasn’t as familiar with the world of commercial real estate, but with my background in client success, I felt I could bring a fresh perspective to the team and was eager to learn more about CRE. Ultimately, the people at RealtyAds made the decision easy. The team is driven, focused, and genuinely supportive of one another’s success. That sense of collaboration really stood out to me.

Working in a tech company over the last few years, how have you seen it change CRE?

CRE has definitely become more receptive to new technology. While the industry has traditionally been slower to adopt tech, there’s been a clear shift, with more clients now looking to integrate tools that enhance their day-to-day. We all know that demand for space isn’t something we can control, but what we can control is our go-to-market strategy. That’s where RealtyAds fits in—offering an innovative solution that helps clients see measurable results. It’s clear that those embracing technology in the space are seeing a real impact on leasing, and it’s been fun to be part of that momentum.

What does your day-to-day look like?

My day-to-day revolves around client communication—making sure they’re getting the most out of our platform and hitting their goals. I spend a lot of time strategizing with clients, helping them fine-tune how they use RealtyAds to drive their success. It’s a good mix of meetings, data analysis, and collaborating with our internal team to adjust our approach based on new insights or feedback. Each day offers something new—always keeping me on my toes.

What has been the most rewarding thing about being a part of the team here at RealtyAds?

Externally, it’s incredibly rewarding to grow alongside my clients. There’s nothing like seeing them recognize the value of RealtyAds, experience tangible results, and then expand our partnership from there.

Internally, I’m continually inspired by my team. Each person here brings a unique perspective and approach to their role, and it’s been a game-changer for me personally, challenging me to think differently and continuously refine my own approach with clients.

How would people describe you in 3 words?

Organized, thoughtful, and ambitious.

Favorite Restaurants in Chicago?

This is a tough one! It depends on the occasion. For a casual Saturday brunch, LuxBar is my go-to; for happy hour, Trivoli Tavern; and for a special occasion, Shanghai Terrace. That said, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my love for a good Smashburger. My current top three, in no particular order, are The Drop In, Small Bar, and Mott Street.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

As you might have guessed, I’m a big foodie and love exploring new spots in Chicago’s food scene with friends when I’m not cooking up a new recipe at home. I also make time for solo Pilates classes to unwind. Outside of Chicago, my parents recently moved to Utah, and with that, golfing has quickly become a new hobby of mine—though I’m still counting down the days until I post an actual score instead of just smiley faces and frowny faces on each hole. Exploring the hiking trails and golf courses out there with my family has become one of my favorite ways to relax and recharge.
