Meet the Team, Anna Meline

As the talented team at RealtyAds continues to grow, we are highlighting dynamic team members from all departments. These individuals play an essential role in connecting our product with clients, and we believe it’s crucial to familiarize you with the team that provides support to both you and your company.

Anna Joined RealtyAds in 2020. As the first female on the team, Anna started as an account manager and has since expanded in her role. She now serves as our Associate Director of Account Management. In this role, Anna is responsible for client relationship management, account strategy and planning, project management, performance monitoring, problem-solving, revenue growth, and client communication and engagement. Anna is pivotal within the RealtyAds team and ensures clients find success while working with RealtyAds. 

You joined RealtyAds in 2020. What initially drew you to work for RealtyAds?

I was introduced to Trevor through a family member in the industry before I graduated from college. The problem RealtyAds is solving captivated me immediately, and I’ve always thrived in small companies where I can shape my role, wear many hats, and learn from industry leaders. After meeting with Trevor and Harry, I knew I wanted to be part of the innovative solutions they were creating for the Commercial Real Estate industry. I’m incredibly grateful they took a chance on me!

As the company has continued to grow, how has your role evolved from then to now?

When I started at RealtyAds, I was hired on to be a flex player who was there to help wherever I could. Whether it be supporting Harry and Trevor on demos, creating content, attending conferences, or ordering swag, I was there to be a sponge and absorb as much as possible about the CRE industry and the RealtyAds platform. As our team grew and the company scaled, there became a need for Account Management support, which is a role I naturally transitioned into. It’s been so rewarding being on the front lines of developing the Account Management playbook. Today, I work with a team of 6 amazing Account Managers who deliver white-glove service to our clients – it has always been at the forefront of our mission.

What has been your favorite part of watching the RealtyAds team expand?

No matter how big we get, Trevor and Keegan are still extremely involved in the day-to-day, which not a lot of companies are able to say. When I started, demos were done over a call link; we kept track of deals on a whiteboard and updated a list of our calls in Excel. As we’ve grown, we’ve become a little more buttoned up, but our ability to be scrappy, agile, and innovative has stayed at the heart of who we are.

How do you think the culture at RealtyAds supports you and your goals?

As the first female and first Account Manager at RealtyAds, I see every new team member as someone to learn from, grow with, and an invaluable addition to who we are. Each new team member has brought something critical to the table that makes up who RealtyAds is. We have an amazing work hard/play hard culture that fosters such a fun yet motivating environment. We are all one team with the same mission aiming for the same goal – and having my mentors and peers available to me whenever I need them has been invaluable to my growth.

What does your day-to-day look like?

My day starts with writing down a checklist of “must-do’s” before the end of the day, responding to client emails, and prepping for my meetings for the day. Between meetings with clients, I spend a lot of time creating custom reports to best showcase our ROI in a way that is tailored to each account’s pain points. I end my day prepping for the next day, sending follow-ups from meetings, and making sure I have everything crossed off my to-do list!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy trying out new recipes, traveling, checking out a new patio, binging a Netflix True Crime Doc, hanging out with friends, and listening to music—the list goes on! I have a great network of friends in Chicago and love spending time with them.

What is your favorite thing to do in Chicago?

My favorite thing to do in Chicago is to walk around and discover new areas of the city. I have a one-year-old puppy who loves to come with me, and we have hit almost every dog park in our area!

What’s your favorite restaurants in Chicago?

As a lover of Italian food and pasta, Alla Vita takes the cake for me. I would go there every day if I could!
