Junior Graphic Designer

RealtyAds was founded with the conviction that commercial real estate (CRE) lacked the necessary tools to compete for tenants at the highest level. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Junior Graphic Designer will join RealtyAds’ in-house design team and will be responsible for building and maintaining a variety of sales-driven print and digital assets. The role is intended to be a developmental opportunity to learn essential design skills and eventually transition into a more advanced design position within the Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to input data into visually compelling layouts and designs
  • Execute timely delivery of production-ready sales items, ensuring consistency of quality and messaging
  • Support the design team in all stages of production through final execution
  • Stay current with industry trends and offer techniques or solutions to enhance the company’s creative output
  • Assist in building templates and systems to streamline the path to a final deliverable
  • Keep layered artwork files and version library organized and easy to recycle and/or edit

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BFA in Graphic Design or similar degree
  • A portfolio showcasing overall graphic design skills
  • Five days per week in-office at RealtyAds’ Chicago Office
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of integrated design across all marketing channels, including digital, social media, mobile, and print
  • Driven, motivated, and coachable; looking to enter a career in design
  • Superb time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and apply new skills on an ongoing basis
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
